There was no happy return to vics park for former player Tam McDonald's men.  The home side, fired up from last weeks victory, took the game by the scruff of the neck scoring six goals in the first 40mins.  Rab Madden and Keith Graham doubles were added to by strikes from Scott McAnnespie and Gary McGrath.  Vics produced some great football and left the fans more than happy at half-time.

It was backs to the wall in the second half for the home side as they lost a bit of concentration and allowed Darvel back into the game, losing three goals in quick succession.  The high drama was added to with the sending off of Vics striker Keith Graham, who left the ref no option, for raising his hands in retaliation.  Thankfully this had no bearing on the final result, with Sanny McAnnespie's men battling on to win 6-3 and take a valuable 3 points.
